More Details

Vine House successfully completed the construction of a new first floor extension for the Ebor Academy Trust at Robert Wilkinson Academy.

The £1.1 million contract required a new lightweight timber frame construction to be designed and built over the existing school building to provide new facilities including classrooms, Arts & Music Centre and staff room.

As well as providing additional space for over 100 pupils and staff the project was completed on time and to budget.

The new facility was officially opened by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mr Barry Dodd CBE.

" Vine House Construction undertook the works to construct a new first floor teaching and arts facility at Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy. Vine House Construction were selected following a vigorous interview and procurement procedure as they recognised and understood the needs and demands of the project. The project took place whilst the school was still in use so Health & Safety was a priority. I was delighted with the work Vine House Construction carried out for the Trust. The work was finished on time and nothing was too much trouble for Paul and his team. I have no hesitation in recommending them. "
